If you have ever been to a big city you have likely seen a card game played on the street by a person trying to hustle you out of your money. The object of the game is for you to find the middle card after they have been shuffled a few times. Most people don't find it and the hustler wins some money from you.
Sometimes our own negative mindset tries to hustle us out of the skills we already have. When ever we have a set back or don't get what we expected we spend time focusing on something we don't have. The next time that happens take out 3 note cards and write down the skills you already have, what you need to do to get better and how you can be prepared the next time. The next time maybe you will "win".
