I’ve always been fascinated by the theory of marginal gains. If you’re not familiar, it’s the idea that small, incremental improvements in any process or behavior can lead to significant changes over time. To me, this concept is a perfect analogy for the journey of self-awareness.
Self-awareness, like marginal gains, isn’t about making one massive breakthrough. It’s about the small learnings we gather along the way. Each insight from life experiences helps us uncover WHO we are—our values, strengths, and the patterns that shape us.
When we notice the moments and situations that energize us, we start to IGNITE our super-powers. These sparks may seem small at first, but over time, they illuminate a path to greater fulfillment and purpose.
And just as marginal gains teach us to value incremental progress, self-awareness invites us to NURTURE both our personal growth and our relationships. Small acts of self-reflection build to greater self-understanding, while meaningful conversations and connections strengthen the bonds we share with others.
Self-awareness isn’t a destination; it’s a journey. By committing to this journey—one small step at a time—you can truly W.I.N. every day.
